    I'm in the U.S. and I'm planning to buy a lumia 1520. But I'm not sure which version is compatible with my carrier, which is called ULTRA and uses AWS band 4 as its network. The unlocked RM-940 supports LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 MHz, while unlocked RM-940 supports LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz.

this one because AWS uses 1700/ 2100( bands 2/4) the other one doesn't support the 1700/2100

The RM-940 is the at&t retail sim-locked version of the 1520. The US compatible unlocked 1520 is the 1520.3 or RM-938.
