Lumia 1020 successors' ?

Can it possible be true that no high end Quad core successor of Lumia 1020 will be announced before the holidays ? Looks like Microsoft is aiming more at the lower end , if this is the case !

And while Microsoft hasn't even made the 15% market share worldwide, I'm afraid that's going to be the story for a while:-( It's very very simple the camera is your hit !

I've got a tall pile of pound notes waiting which I'd readily hand over for a 1020 successor, but it seems they're not wanted. As a supplement to my 1020 I may have to settle for a 1520 or a 930, and risk the scroll/tap problem of the former and the screen-lift tendencies of the latter.

That pic is a Fan Rendered concept based off a leaked protoype that is marked Nokia so we know it is old prototype stock. Most likely what this fictional, photoshopped, DOES NOT PHYSICALLY EXIST, processed rendering is based on is something that was shelved and forgotten during the Msft buyout of Nokia's hardware division. Likely someone "liberated" that prototype from Nokia R&D in China while the guards were napping. It is being sold on Taobao as a unique one of a kind item.

You're building up people's hopes based on fairy dust and moonbeams...
