Why isn't my volume down button working?

Volume down button not working

Ever since cyan update my volume down button not working....i don't think its a hardware problem...any help or suggestions????

Be sure to try some compressed air on the button to rule out any grit in there.

Run a backup and do a hard reset...

Done a hard reset...still not working...
Sometimes volume button works(once in a day)..

The hard reset pretty much ruled out software. Like rumorednow said, compressed air might clean out the switch behind the volume rocker.

Look for a phone repair tech in your area with a good reputation... That is, if you are not under warranty.

Found a workaround on YouTube...inserted a thin strip between volume button after removing cover...
