Why am I not able to sign into my Microsoft account on Windows Phone 8.1?

I'm not able to sign into my Microsoft account on Windows Phone 8.1

No matter what I do, including resetting the password on my pc, the phone doesn't seem to accept it.
Now I can't download any apps on my phone as the store isn't allowing me to.
I enter the right password. It just goes back to the previous page

Go to: Settings > email + accounts > find the Microsoft Account on the list and hold your finger down on that > when the popup happens touch sync

Try the new password after the sync occurs.

If that fails you will have to Reset your phone and establish a Microsoft Account once more on set up... You may loose all data including App purchase history though if you Reset.

Does your Microsoft Account fail to sync? Check your date and time to ensure they are correct...

Me to had the same problem. But now solved after trying for 4-5 times.
