Why do I have audio?

why is there no audio???

songs when played, no sound is there unless i m using headphone. There isnt even ringtone when i receive a call??? what to do?

Your phone might think the headphones are connected even when they are not.

Test this by removing any headphones and hitting the volume up or down key... A popup shows up with a slider bar (if you are on 8.1) and it is labeled. If the label says Headphones, you need to check to make sure nothing is stuck inside the jack. Blowing on it may clear any debris...

Have you tried a reboot since the problem started?

I experienced the same problem with my Lumia 520 speaker which suddenly stopped working.Tried many methods even hard reset did not work.I thought the speaker might be dead,after 2 days I planned my way for a 60 min ride to Nokia service,to my surprise on my way to service centre my 520 started ringing for a call.My problem was solved and I had to revert for a 30 min ride to my house.
