How do I get a Win JR out of demo mode?

I just bought a Win Jr off the microsoft website. One day after installing my sim card, it asked if i wanted to update, which brought on the following symptoms: 1) my contacts were deleted, 2) new contacts appeared, but the numbers were not actual people, 3) all the personalizing I'd done was undone, 4) "demo mode" apps appeared in the app list that weren't there before. BLU, the manufacturer, said they had no idea what happened, and I'm just thinking of getting a replacement. Any ideas?

Check your documents for how to do a hard reset... If that does not solve the problem, definitely send it back for a replacement.

Try this, go to"about" in your settings and turn your phone to"landscape". An option should magically appear to turn it into a regular phone. There was a YouTube video of early wp8 that turned demo phones into regular phones.
