    I dropped my phone and it cracked from the corner to the bottom, im wondering if its cheaper to buy a new one, or if it could be covered under windows that would be great.

    It depends on the venue you use, also the cost of the device you currently use and if it is worth getting the same device again or one that is cheaper. I would recommend taking your device to a MSFT if you can, a lot of people throughout the forums here have been able to get their phone replaced for a fairly decent price ranging from $50-250; that is if that is an option for you.
