What is a good phone for taking photos?

looking for a photo phone

I don't even understand the above questions. Just looking for an easy phone to use when taking pictures of the grand kids. Nokia has been good for me before.

Mmmm...
Almost any smartphone would fill the bill.
With grand kids I'd probably get a phone that has a flash for stop action pics at low light levels.

Any Lumia with PureView and a dedicated camera button (so that you can pull it out of your pocket, press the camera button, and jump right into the excellent Lumia Camera app) is great for photos.

I would say that the following is something to look at.

Current models:
Lumia 1520 (biggest model, top of the line)
Lumia 930 (same as above under-the-hood but with a different, smaller design)
Lumia 830 (I would definitely consider a refurb/used 925 though.)

Previous generation:
Lumia 920, 925, 928 (925 is slightly upgraded from the 920, the 928 is for Verizon US (but it is unlocked) and has a Xenon flash, which is better for flash photography.)
Lumia 1020 (still the best camera for photos out of the lineup)

Others worth looking at: (if more strapped for cash)
Lumia 720 or 730, 735 (not as good as the others, but its still good for the price.)

no muss no fuss, good phone and great camera. likely the best camera phone ever.
