Is the MS band the watch that they call a smartwatch?

Hey the ms band looks ok I think, it doesn't have a sleep cycle alarm tho, but compared to appels new watch, MS band is and looks like water.
The apple watch can so much more and looks stunning.

But is it how it is or will MS release a really smartwatch in the future?

No offense but what does "is and looks like water" mean? I also do not see an actual question. As far as Apple's product goes, you are comparing an actual device to one that is still just advertising (AKA vapor ware). Good luck wearing that stylish device that isn't even for sale and will not be for some time. BTW, when it comes out, it will be completely limited to interacting with other devices in the ios ecosystem - hardly and indicator of doing so much more....
