Why does my UC Browser freeze?

UC Browser freezes every time...

Whenever I put two fingers on my phone to zoom in or out, after I'm done with the motion and it zooms, my UC Browser freezes. I just got my phone yesterday (HTC One M8) and am trying to find a good web browser, and everything about the UC Browser has been fantastic except for this...

You've probably downloaded too many videos or files in Uc browser, mine did too but after I deleted and downloaded again, now it works like a charm.. P.s Opera mini beta I out and I'm loving it ! You should check it out!

I tried reinstalling it to see if that would fix it, but no dice. I tried zooming as soon as I fired it up, with no luck. I did notice in "speed mode" I don't have the issue. Maybe I will just have to try opera... It's too bad it seemed like a great app until this started happening...
