Nokia lumia 630 keeps turning off with battery life

nokia lumia 630 keep turning off and wont turn back on again even when I have over 50% battery life. I have to take the battery out and replace before it will turn back on. thanks for any help

I would suggest either a soft reset (hold the volume down button and power button simultaneously for 10-15 seconds or until the phone vibrates.) and if that doesn't work try a hard reset (this will make you lose your personal data on the phone but is more likely to solve this problem - go to settings>about>reset your phone.

Cough... Perhaps hard reset After you take the battery out and restart. Sounds cut dried and rightly logical to me with the information you supplied.

unfortunately your answer does not address the original question, which is 'why'? Any thougths on why this occurs, or is the generic reason 'microsoft'?
