I've created a hosted WLAN network on my Win8.1 tablet using the "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=network1 key=12345678" & "netsh wlan start hostednetwork" commands in command prompt (as admin)...
All good so far...
My Lumia 1020 can see the network, but refuses to connect... It tries, but keeps coming back with an error:
"your phone can't connect to the WiFi network network1".
The really frustrating thing about this is that it worked two days ago (the first time I tried it), but I can't fathom why it won't now... I've tried the obvious things like switching off WiFi on both devices, rebooting etc, but no joy.
I'm inclined to believe the problem is on the tablet end as my Lumia 520 gives exact same results.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Any help much appreciated!
