why my phone is not getting on even in charging.

its in charging from last 20 hours and this is a new battery..i got it because i thought my battery is the reason for my phone which was dead for last 10 days.before sfrom few days it was taking full night to charge and getting drained in 2 hours and if i use in charging then also it used to drain very fast not even charging now with new battery same condition please help me guys.....[Mod edit e-mail removed]...i wl be thankful really please do tell me what to do now.
