Can the "Camera" app take High Res pictures ?

Hello !
Lumia 930, 1020, 1520 Icon... Have a nice quality picture (20mp or more).
It seems that we need to use "Nokia Camera" or "Lumia Camera" apps to get the real 16mp or more High res pictures.

My question is : can the native "Camera" app (Microsoft Camera) take High res pictures, or this app is only able to take 5mp pics ?

Microsoft camera is a basic application to take quick images, it's highly unlikely that it will take the 16 MP or 19 MP shots.

Oh and by the way, to confirm you could use a picture info viewer to see how many megapixels your image is.
