Trouble connecting to Sony BDP-S2200 to Dell XPS 18 via Miracast
Hello,
I have scoured the internet but have not seen my particular issue listed in any forums. I am having trouble connecting my Sony Blu-Ray Player (BDP-S2200) to Dell XPS 18 via Miracast. Both are connected to the same WiFi network, the BDP-S2200 firmware is up to date as is the Dell XPS running Windows 8.1. I can see the BDP-S2200 device as an option on the 'Project' menu under 'Display' and I can get the two to establish a connection (briefly). However, as soon as a connection is established the connection is lost. The screen on the Dell XPS flickers then I hear the disconnect chime. On the BDP-S2200 I see that that device has been disconnected as well.
Any suggestions on how to sucessfully project the Dell XPS screen onto the BDP-S2200? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
