[L520] Antivirus needed?...If so what will be the right choice?

i want to know if lumia 520 has any antivirus to protect from threats and worms...can u explain in details about any antivirus and its behaviour ..

None is needed, since there are no known viruses for Windows Phone.

As far as I know, no antivirus is required for WP.

The antivirus is supplied by Microsoft's Windows Phone Store - all apps are checked and scanned before they hit your phone, so there is no need for your phone to have any anti-virus apps.

Internet Explorer on the phone won't allow scripts to access any data on your phone. If you happen to hit a page with a malicious script, the most that will happen is the page will crash.

Yeah, just one more reason why WP rocks. I hate how anitvirus apps slow down any system they are installed on.

It does not need any antivirus
All apps entered in store are checked and verified.and ie browser is also more safe...so enjoy most secure platform
