    when taking a picture with the phone, how do I add the flash?

    You should see a "Flash" or lightning sign icon. You can toggle it to set it on auto, always on or off.
    What phone do you have?

    Good Point. Some phones in fact do not physically have a flash.

    I recall a post somewhere here from a user that wanted to know why the flashlight App didn't work on their Lumia 521...
