Why isn't my exercise diary showing the correct credits for my calories?

exercise diary shows 337 calories burned for using elliptical for 30 minutes

exercise diary gave me credit for 30 minutes and 337 calories for the elliptical but no credit for walking 7500 steps it says

where is the credit for the 2425 calories burned?

What device do you have? It might be something to do with the coding on the app, so it's worth contacting the developer about this.
