Photos taken with Lumia 730 in artificial light not sharp

I have just bought a Lumia 730 and started clicking some photos. I see that photos taken in artificial light with or without flash come out to be very soft and pixelated even. Any similar experiences?
Or my device is defective?

There are several things you can try... A different Camera App, manual settings and post shot editing.
