Why don't I have Cortana on my Windows 8.1 Lumia 920?

i dont have cortana on my windows 8.1 lumia 920

got the update but no cortana and cannot find anything to help with this

This is very easy to do mate.. Follow this .....

1) change region to USA English (phone will restart)

2) change language to American English (phone will then download speech pack automatically) then it will reset.

3) scroll to the left and you will see Cortana.

It depends on where you are and what certain settings are. You also need to be at an appropriate OS version. There are Betas and Alphas out there based on country... Check these charts for availability and configuration.
