Is there a setting or a app that turns conversation view is SMS message off

( so each text comes through separate, not listed under senders name?. )

As far as I can see, we have no settings for this and given the nature of our apps, I doubt you'll find an app that has the kind of access to the sms threads, that you are looking for (AFAIK, so I could be wrong)

I thought threaded SMS was baked in everywhere now.

I'm not sure why you don't like the threads. I find it easy to follow.

You could try an IM client for more free-for-all action with groups. Skype is one, BBM (BlackBerry Messanger) is another and I'm sure there are a ton more like What'sApp or whatever. Search the store and check with the homies to find the one that works for your crew. In general IM is more a group deal and SMS is a thread between two, unless you mean a mass SMS in which case IDK because I'm too old for that snap.
