If my screen frozen and cannot reset the phone, how do I fix this problem?

Screen frozen and cannot reset the phone

.The power shut option require swipe of pull down arrow on the screen. The battery cannot be removed also. Is it necessary for battery to drain and try or other option available?

Note: The whole thing happened because of VLC player. IT never worked ,it does not even run normal MP4 ND ULTIMAtely it froze the screen and I cannot use the phone for 24 hrs and still waiting!!!

Press and hold power and volume down until it reboots.

If that doesn't help, Wait tell it dies COMPLETELY then boot it up. Don't forget to uninstall VLC Player as well.

What he said.... It sucks but im getting tired of these black screens.
