Why is my Nokia Lumia 720 having charging problems.

For the last two days I have been charging my nokia lumia 720 and I have just realized that it is charging until 68%.It can charge for long hours but it will not go past 68%. What could be the problem?Please provide a solution to this...thank you

My first guess would be a calibration issue. Soft reset your device and see if that fixes it.

There are a few possibility's.
The battery app which you shows is not correct. Do a soft reset and/or use another battery app to double check
Your charger has a problem. Use another charger
You battery has a problem. Change your battery
