Why isn't my phone charging or turning on?

my phone does not want to charge nor switch on

My phone went off about a week ago,i tried charging it several times but is still does not want to go on or charge,help ppplllllllzzz?????

If it died on its own because the battery was entirely empty, it's absolutely normal that it won't come on or obviously charge right after plugging in. Give it a couple of minutes, it will eventually turn on once the charge is big enough. Make sure you're using a wall charger and not a USB port on your computer or so.

It's also possible that the charger you use is defective. So use another charger.
If that also does not work try the Lumia software recovery tool.
