Is there anyway to see notifications,missed calls etc when the screen is locked and blank

If you have a missed call you cannot see this if the screen is locked and the backlight has gone out

No there is no flashing LED like in android.

You could (if your phone support this) use the glance screen or get a Band or similar device.

Well, if u have a Lumia device (except some of the devices), most of them have the glance feature, which is pretty neat and very useful- it can show the same lockscreen notifications you choose to see.....even when the phone goes to sleep!!! :smile: Hope this helps.
