Quiet Hours and Flight mode

Hi there, I'm a bit confused about the quiet hours. Do they work (inner circle) while I am on flight modus?

The QH basically stops letting you receive any warnings that there are incoming messages, but the phone is still very much active and working as it would if QH was disabled; Flight Mode on the other hand kind of turns off the phone in the sense that someone calling/texting you would not be able to reach you at all (With QH you can alter this; also you can set the phone to send an automatic message to anyone who is trying to reach you).

In the end if you turned on FM then no one could reach you, unless you also opted to leave on wifi in which case IM's would come through and your phone will notify you (ringtone or some other tone you have put in place for certain apps)
