Hi, I had a Lumia 1520, no probs. Broke the screen. Buy 930 as replacement. Pretty similar except smaller.

Suddenly, in the live tile for the people app Facebook appears as though it is a contact. Now I hate Facebook and have done everything i can think of to remove it form my phone.

Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

    Cheers - Mark

Couldn't it possibly be that one of your contacts has the Facebook logo set as his avatar somewhere?

It's baked into the operating system as part of a licensing deal with Facebook. There's no way of getting rid of it, even if you set pictures for every single one of your contacts and don't install Facebook onto your phone.

I resent that "f" blinking at me too.

The only way is to make the People tile the smallest size and sacrifice live tile functionality.

I could rant on this for days (and already have elsewhere) so I sympathize with the OP 100%.
