Why do I have such a poor wifi reception on my Nokia 1320?

Poor wifi reception in Nokia 1320

My device is not getting adequate signal strength even in vicinity of Wifi router. Laptop and other phone connect properly. Signal strength that I see in phone is extremely poor as compared to other device. I am using Windows 8.1 Lumia 1320. OS and firmware are up to date.

If you have a Microsoft near you, drop in and have them evaluate it.
