Nokia Lumia 739 charging in switch-off mode.

I am using Nokia Lumia 730 for over two weeks now. Usually when the phone is switched off, and charger is plugged in, the phone will be charged in switch off mode. But this phone, even when we switch off the phone and try to charge it, the phone is starting again automatically. So is there no option available to charge a phone in switch off mode?

All Lumia's since the older WP7.x devices only charge when the device is on. If you try to charge them with power off, they boot up. That's because the Windows Phone operating system manages the battery itself. Some older devices don't do it like that, and neither do some Androids. It may seem strange, but the WP way of handling it is MUCH better for many reasons.

I personally don't know if its better or not, but that's normal behavior. Your phone never charged when off.
