Problem obtaining/ blocked from devprev on vzw??

[Windows Central Question]

Installed windows app studio, then Preview for Developers( currently on 8.0.1). Prompted to obtain code from authenticator(two step installed) after entering email& win password. Authenticator continuously generating codes one after the other. Entered code successfully, was prompted to sign in again, checked back with authenticator- still spitting out codes. Stuck in an endless loop, unable to make final acceptance for 8.1 for developers. Anyone else experiencing similar issue?
FWIW, I had recently installed the latest extras & infos update offering, have noticed markedly quicker loss of battery power since. Could vzw be somehow blocking access to devprev & making icon users more frustrated w/ general phone function (dons tin foil hat, waits patiently)?

No, as evil as Verizon is, they cannot block the Developer's Preview.

I'm a little confused. Have you used the Authenticator app in the past? The Authenticator app works by creating new six digit codes every thirty seconds. It is a time based algorithm. Is it not accepting the output of the Authenticator app?
