How do I remove unwanted apps on my Lumia 520

I downloaded a number of apps such as "Zillow" and "Myxer App for Windows", but I no longer use or want these apps and I am unaware of how to delete or remove them on my Nokia Lumia 520 windows phone.

Wow, the things we take for granted, sometimes they are not as obvious as we think they are.

In the list of apps (swipe to the left from the home screen or use the right-pointing arrow at the bottom), touch and hold the app until a menu pops up. One of the options is "uninstall."
