Why can I not see or even change my SMS tone?

[Windows Central Question]

Whenever I enter settings> Ringtones+Sounds It doesn't give me the option to change my SMS tone. It lets me change my ringtone and Reminder tone but that is it. SMS tone isn't even listed but I have seen on other devices that it should be there. I am using a Lumia 1520 running Cyan, Hong Kong Country Variant. Has anyone else had this problem before? Can anyone offer a fix?

You can change SMS tones under each contact. Edit one of your contacts and you'll see the option for changing their individual tone.

Otherwise, to change your main text tone, in ringtones+sounds, go down to "manage app sounds" and then select the messaging app.

Thank you so much!!! I was just speaking to a microsoft representative and they had no idea, they said I should factory reset my phone. Thank you so much, you were more helpful and answered faster than those customer service representatives ever could.

Yes, a lot of times, with each update of our beloved WP OS, there will be a setting, or a function that we're used to seeing in a certain spot, that'll get changed or moved somewhere else.
