Why does my Nokia Lumia 928 keep shutting off and turning on by itself?

Nokia Lumina 928 keeps shutting off and turning on BY ITESELF

My phone keeps turning off and on by itself BUT it has been doing this for the past hour and half over and over and over again. Before it did this my phone had constantly been getting frozen and i would restart it and back it up and all that but it didn't help it would keep freezing. Then this whole turning on and off thing started happening. So i am not able to even get into my phone. Charging it isn't helping. IT IS DRIVING ME INSANE. Someone please help me fix this problem.

does it shut off completely or does the shut off screen show up first. If its the latter then its a hardware problem experienced on my L720

Try reflashing the OS and Firmware...
