Windows Central Question

is there a film over the camera lens on a nokia Lumia 635 that needs to be removed?

Every time I try and use the camera the screen looks grainy and the pictures come out horrible. I opened the back to see if I could see a film however it doesn't seem like there is yet I still have a grainy screen and pictures.

What software are you using? Did you use the manual camera settings? Check your iso.
Can you post a sample picture?

@ the OP: I would assume that the phone does ship with a cling on plastic film over the lens, but I also believe it would be easy to spot if it were there...
