Windows Central Question

When the final release of Windows 10 for phones is available, what will happen with the current phones that run Windows 10 Technical Preview? Will they be smoothly upgraded to the final release of Windows 10 by carriers (in my case by AT&T). Or will Microsoft make the final release available like it is now the technical preview is available and everybody who participate in the testing of Windows 10 now would be upgraded to the final release? Should that be up to the carriers, it will definitely be bad as they are always reluctant to do any upgrades to their customers. AT&T is a good example of such a carrier.

Eventually TP users will hit the final OS version which will be seen on the new W10 handsets.
So only thing u will need to depend on carriers is the firmware for W10.

The final build will probably be delivered to Insiders anyway, the question is whether firmware will be packaged with it.

For the rest of the unenrolled public, the answer is likely the sane as it always has.
