How can I flash my bricked phone?

lumia 520 wp 8.1 gdr1 . bricked. cant flash using winodws phone recovery tool.

Windows phone recovery tool is not working. It doesn't read my phone while its connected via USB Cable. I tried "my phone was not detected" but it didn't help either.

Try another cable/socket/pc just to rule those out.

I cannot use NCS or Navifirm+ as my phone is not responding/vibrating or showing anything after pressing and holding the volume down + power key.

had the same problem since a week. went to nokia care.. they told me it would cost 4000+ taxes.. went to gaffar market delhi (if u know it) got it fixed for 2000.. its not a software problem anymore.. some hardware will be changed

4000! Damn! Yeah, i know gaffar market. But I don't think I will be spending even 2000 on it, I will buy a 730 now. Sigh.

Connect your phone and click the my phone not booting option right after launching the app

At that point of time try soft resetting the phone. Your Lumia would then be detected by recovery tool.
