Normally, games are loaded in the RAM, so it is only slow to load. Once it is loaded it should be fast. But I would buy a 64GB class 10 (my favorite is Kingston) SD for 30$.
Your math isn't quite right.
games don't need to load everything at once, so I don't think you'll necessarily see such a big performance gap.
I'd wager that a Class 6 card will work decently, but as tiger says here, why not a Class 10?
