Why am I unable to download apps from the Windows store on my Lumia 520?

[Windows Central Question]

i have failed to download apps from the windows store on my lumia 520

the apps download and then at the point where they say installing just stop and says attention required tap here...

Help!

Are you on wifi or mobile network ? ... Because Store needs minimum bandwidth to download the apps ...

Hello, thank you for the response. I'm using wifi which has been working fine; I tried to toggle the app storage from the phone to SD card and back but that did not help either...maybe I should format the SD card; really trying to avoid re-setting the phone.
