Can I use the sdk to develop an application for the Surface Pro 1??

Hi, I'd like to develop an application for the surface pro 1 (I do not have a windows phone) that communicates with the Microsoft Band. Is it possible with the skd?? Or it is only fot windows and android phone?

Currently just the phone

It uses phone APIs underneath. Hopefully that will change after W10.

Note that other people have worked out the messaging to talk directly to the phone without the SDK. But since you're asking these questions, that probably isn't for you.
