I remember reading somewhere that Windows Phone couldn't use the full power of DirectX 11 due some limitations and that affected gaming experience on the platform.
For example, you can notice that some games, lets say FIFA 15 UT, have a smoother performance on the Moto G 2014 than in the Lumia 830, and both devices share the same CPU/GPU.
Now that DirectX 12 is confirmed for Windows 10 I wonder if games will notice a performance boost right away or it will be necessary and update from the developers to take advantage of that.
