apps in my phone asking wifi to update why?

I try to open flipkart app its direct me to update screen bt an message come that app is waiting for wifi but i have an active data plan

Small apps can be updated by data connection......try by pressing download

You need to change your app store settings. Go to App Store> Settings >App Updates> only get updates over wifi - off this option. Hope your problem will be solved.
