Trade in 630 for 535 ??

I'm thinking of trading my 630 for a 535. It's just over a ?100 in Ireland here and has a gig of ram. Comes with denim too which in still waiting on.

Looking at comparison of the two i see the 535 has snapdragon 200 compared to 400 on 630

Is this bad ?
Will the 535 get gdr2 ?

Any advice.Im fed up of the 630 and lack of updates

Why not wait for 640 or 640 xl? Here in UK, it is ?99 for Lumia 640. Lumia 640 is a lot better than 535.

Lumia 535 is not much of an upgrade compared to 630, and the processor is slightly worse on the 535.

The 640 is most likely the better option.

In regards to your original question:

The Snapdragon 200 under the hood of the 535 is inferior to the much more powerful Snapdragon 400 that powers the 630's all the way up to the 830.

Both phones will eventually be updated, and I don't think switching to another device will really net you long term benefits in terms of updates.

I have got an opportunity to get an 830 cheap. How much Better than the 630 is an 830.Im reading it lags a little here and there due to higher resolution

Significantly.
The display is a bit larger, but its sharper.
What lag or stutter there is isn't major I would think, and well worth the improved everything else.
1 GB of RAM is a step up in game and app compatibility.
The camera blows the 630 away, battery life is good, and it has more features you may appreciate.
