Will the Lumia 640 or 735 UK version work in the US? [2]

Hi guys,

I do not want to wait for Tmobile to release the newest 640 (taking forever...) and I recently heard that the 735 is on sale on the Microsoft UK website for the same price as the 640.

Will it work fully on the US networks? Thanks.

For T-Mo neither is a good match.

The LTE is Euro style and won't do you any good on any US carrier (Bands 3/7/20 are useless here).

On the H+ (3G) radio it is missing the 1700 MHz frequency so if you visit an area that is not refarmed for LTE then it wants 1700 for 3G which you don't have so you only get EDGE.

You could run either on H+ comfortably with ATT or an ATT mvno.
