    Hello guys,whenever i switch on or switch off my Mobile connection the SMS Centre number is lost,how do i fix it? it's pretty annoying
    Nokia Lumia 730 With windows phone 8.1 on denim update.
    Cyprus,unlocked.

    You may want to contact your mobile service provider, since the SMS Centre number tends to be specific to the mobile service provider.

    Odd... You can go to Messaging > settings > SMS center number > enter the number > save... But then it gets deleted every reboot?

    Sounds like a fault on the SIM. Power down and remove the SIM. Inspect it for corrosion. If you see none, clean it with a soft lint free cloth like one used for a screen. reinsert and boot the phone. See if the number appeared... Should be +35795977777

    Boy,they answered faster than my network provider,and helped me indeed,seems the slot 1 of the seem had something wrong,just putted my sim on second slot,it works so far,hope it stays like that

    Glad to know that the issue has been, hopefully, truly resolved.

    They've always responded rather quickly - the fastest was within an hour and the slowest, though rare, was within a few days. They've been very helpful with my queries, even up to the local service center level.
