Need help!

Looking to buy a new phone. I have an Att go phone and was looking into a used 925, do I need it to be GSM? Or unlocked?? I'm not sure what all I need please help. Thanks.

The 925 only supports GSM. There was no CDMA version.

If you get an AT&T branded 925, it will support the LTE bands used by AT&T.

An unlocked international 925 will work on AT&T, but it will not support LTE.

A device that is not unlocked and not branded to AT&T will not work at all.

So all I have to do is put my Go Phone sim in and it will work? And what would reception be like without LTE?

If the phone you are looking at is ATT branded, everything will just work. Even still locked to ATT your GoPhone SIM is a go.

If the phone you are looking at is T-Mo branded, it needs to be unlocked to work with your GoPhone SIM. If it is unlocked from T-Mo your GoPhone SIM is a go.

If the phone you are looking at is a Factory Unlocked International it would be good to know if it was placed in Canada or Latin America as opposed to Europe.
