Does the Nokia Lumia 735 have a 'Never' option for the Lock Screen Timeout?

Windows Central Question

Currently have a Lumia 720 and maximum time out is 5 mins which does not help with golf GPS apps such as Free Caddy as it locks soon after each shot rather than be free flowing. May upgrade to 735 if 'never' function is available - as it seems to be in a random selection of Lumias.

It's not a random selection but a ROM limited feature. Some ROM variants have it, some don't. Same could be said about the static IP option in Wi-Fi settings and field test mode. I don't have a 720 myself so can't really tell you which ROM had it enabled but if you managed to find one you can always flash to that ROM to get the lacking features, a phone change is really not needed.

I don't know, but I doubt it. Seems tied to different regions or things, oddly enough.

Given the 730 and 735 has an OLED screen, I'm willing to wager not.

AMOLED (display)s are more susceptible to burn-in (see Lumia 820, 930, 730, 900...) than the traditional LCD panels. (see 720, 530, 1520, 710...)
It doesn't mean it will make a difference in typical use, but leaving the display on a static image for a long time like "Never" would do will not be a good thing to do.

I recommend a phone with an LCD for that, such as the Lumia 830 and 635 (or 638), which are placed right above and below the 735.
Also consider the Lumia 920 or a used 1520.

My 920 has it, FWIW. But its on the French CV ROM, another 920 may not have it. It's weird.
