Calendar issues- doubled events?

This seems to only happen with my Facebook events and birthdays. It shows up as double events and gives me double notifications. What do I do about this? I only have one FB account and it's the only thing doing this.

This seems to only happen with my Facebook events and birthdays. It shows up as double events and gives me double notifications. What do I do about this? I only have one FB account and it's the only thing doing this.

Check if your outlook or hotmail account is linked to your FB account. If it is linked, the phone will show the same event or birthday twice.

Go to Calendar > Settings and check remove ticks for everything except Facebook.

Oops, I wasn't signed in. It didn't work, and worse yet, it's only certain events and birthdays. A few don't make double events, but events and most birthdays do...
