I tried updating my phone to the windows 10 preview build but the update is stuck at 6% since two hours...please help

I would strongly suggest NOT to abort the installation to prevent a possible bricking.
Just be sure your battery does not become flat so connect it to the charger and wait.
Some times it just takes a long time which also defends on your phone.
For me it also "stuck" long at 5 or 6 % and then it suddenly went to 40-50%.

Like Harrie said, plug into power.

A Soft Reset may help and it unstuck my 635 when trying out 10 for the first time. Hold the Power + Volume Down buttons until the phone vibrates and reboots.
