    This is usually encountered when the internet connection is unstable or when the servers (either the main or the interim) are busy.

    Make sure that your internet connection is stable first before trying again. Preferably, connect using Wi-Fi.

    In some instances, restarting the phone resolves the issue (either as a real fix or as a coincidence since the process of restarting the phone takes "a minute or two").

    The DNS address set by the ISP in my router was causing the same issue on my phone. Since setting alternate DNS address is not an option in Windows phone, try changing the address to some other one on your router. Try this only if DNS is a problem!
