How do I get out of a Cortana set up loop?

Im trying to set up cortanta for my new phone, i made a mistake when typing in my email adress, iv now got to the stage when i have the option to fix the typo but it brings it continues to send me to an error page saying there is a temporary problem. I cant go forward to get out, i cant go back, when i soft reset the phone i get the same stage. dont want to hard reset as its got company details set up. its now been three days and i do have a microsoft acount set up. what can i do to reset the cortana set up stages.
